Job Title: EMT(Emergency Medical Technician)

We are currently seeking dedicated EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing timely and effective non-emergency medical response.

Job Overview

As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients in non-emergency situations. This role requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. 

Responsibilities

  • Must be knowledgeable of safe moving and lifting techniques to insure safety of self and others.
  • Collaborate with your fellow EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
  • Be flexible as emergency services operate 8-12 hour shifts – your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.
  • Must possess and maintain current state certification at the EMT/EMSVO level.
  • Report to work on-time and prepared to immediately begin work.
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
  • Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.
  • Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH) .
  • Maintain ambulance cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.
  • Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.
  • Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.
  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.

Requirements

  • EMT Certification by the State of Pennsylvania
  • Current CPR card

Part-time or full-time work, located in Huntingdon Valley, PA

Rate $22-$24/hour
